The last couple of days with Marius have been really good. He is usually in a good mood when we go in to see him and hang out with him. He is quite the little joker and gets a kick out of copying our laughs and any other noise we make. He even tried to scare Ashley today by pretending that he was asleep and then popping up. He is also becoming quite the little winker. Yesterday (March 25th) he would keep tapping my arm and saying Jessica and then just wink at me. He did this several times until he was satisfied. It was so cute. He still loves to watch Tom and Jerry and any other cartoon we bring in. We are so glad that we finally found something that he really enjoys and that holds his attention.
His cousin that is there with him now is great and she is so sweet. We have gone in the last couple of days to find Marius in a new position. We always thought it was the nurses, but really it is Alina. It is so good for him to move and such a comfort to know that Alina is taking such good care of him. He was in some pain today, but he seemed to snap out of pretty quickly and go back to laughing at Robin Hood. He is definitely a trooper and we love him!
